Dr. William S. Fager
William Scott Fager, Doctor of Chiropractic, opened his first practice as an independent contractor within the Gajda Health Plus Network, Ltd. located on Northwest Highway, Palatine, IL which is directed by the nationally known, former Mr. Universe, Mr. US, and Mr. America bodybuilder, Bob Gajda.
Dr. Fager is a graduate of New York Chiropractic College, located in the Finger Lakes region of New York State, where he graduated with Honors and was named to the Dean’s List. In addition, he acquired a Bachelor of Professional Studies from New York Chiropractic College. He completed his internship at a health clinic in Levittown, New York and then worked as an associate at Allied Medical, a multidisciplinary practice in Massapequa, New York until he relocated to Palatine, Illinois.
The chiropractor treats people of all ages and interest groups, but especially enjoys working with athletes. Dr. Fager donated a year of services treating the Saint Xavier University football team. Aside from practicing several common techniques, including Diversified, Drop Table, SOT, and Sound Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, Dr. Fager also offers a fairly new technique called Active Release Technique (ART), for which he became certified from continued education after receiving his chiropractic degree. This state-of-the-art, highly successful technique, invented by Michael Leahy, D.C., targets soft tissues injuries, nerve entrapments, and other such ailments.
Dr. Fager was born and raised in Kankakee, Illinois, and is a Bishop McNamara high school graduate. He then graduated with Honors, Magna Cum Laude, from Saint Xavier, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology while also playing tight end for the Cougars’ football team.
